OUR FAREWELL TO THE BLUE WHALE

Every April we must say goodbye to all the blue whales that come all the way down from Alaska to breed in Mar de Cortez. After our numerous excursions in Loreto Bay to see these huge mammals –the biggest animals on Earth– we always feel a little bit sad when they leave, but in this season we feel very lucky because we had a really good time with them and we can only smile and hope to see them back the next season.

If you have not yet seen the blue whales, Mar de Cortez is one of the best spots on the planet to do it. We love taking people on our fleet and give them the opportunity to see the biggest animal on Earth. So, if you are thinking about it, read more the information about our whale wathing tours here and give us a call or drop us a line if you want further information.

In the meantime, we are glad to share some of the pictures that our friend Maia Welch kindly let us upload to our new website. Enjoy them :)

We hope you liked the pictures and some day will join us onboard to see these great animals. You can follow our adventures through our Facebook page and see more pictures of the tours we organize in Desert and Sea Expeditions.
